Biography:
Self taught in Photography for many years using film. During the 1990's I was a freelance feature writer for a number of hobby magazines. There were many front covers featuring my images during this period of activity in which I brought the skills of scale model maker, writer and photographer into one format that has since been much emulated.
In early 2007 I had a photo exhibition in Glastonbury Abbey, the first of its kind, and for this I produced 30 images illustrating the "Myths and Legends of the Isle of Avalon from Joseph of Arimathea to King Arthur".
I possess a BSc in Applied Psychology, PGCE, ECDL, qualification in Archaeology and of late focused upon awards from professional photographic bodies. The British Institute of Professional Photography awarded me Licentiate and of late the Associate level in recognition of my skills. This is especially appreciated because I have only been working in the digital medium since late 2006. Future plans are to expand my repertoire of skills and attain still higher recognition from my peers in this medium.
And for those with incredible eyesight I appeared once on a TV Tetleys beer commercial...as one of a hundred Roman soldiers, and what a brilliant way to spend a week end, wondering round the countryside near Scotch Corner, and paid for it too!
